The chevron design is an inverted V-shaped pattern. There are no records indicating its origin. However it occurred in early art in designs on pottery and rock carvings.
Similar to the Ikat, the chevron is a busy design. If it is used
correctly, it can make a great statement either as a beautiful accent or a decor theme for an
entire room. Here are some examples of chevrons used in a variety of
decor, apparel and jewelry.
